we had an amazing Kiki with season 10’s Blair st Clair and talked about her music, Drag race UK and a possible All-stars run in the future? check it out and enjoy!

You recently released some more of your music, can we expect more releases and maybe even a solo tour soon?
Yes, so thats what I’m really excited about right now. I just signed with 88 records and Warner Bros music which is the record label im working with right now, and we’re working on a full length album, its coming our next spring, and it has a pop vibe with a small R&B reference to it. It’s Kim Petras meets Troye Sivan meets Demi Lovato meets a hint of Ariana Grande. It’s those artists if they were mixed, but It’s definitely a new sound. Oh, and a tour to follow, so look out for me in a city near you soon!
Will you be coming to the UK on that tour?
Absolutely, I tell people all the time that London is one of my favourite city’s in the world.
Which of your songs and videos were the most fun for you to record and film?
Hmm, my favourite song to record was “Easy love”, which is new and now available to stream on all platforms, a little plug there (laughs) because it was very different to the things I’m used too, but my favourite video to record was “Irresistible” because it was more of a sexy video vixen kinda feel and there was dancers and props and a lot of things so that was really really fun!

So if you were asked to return to compete in an All-Star season would you say yes and what would you want the fans to see that they haven’t really seen before?
I don’t know that I would say yes to an All-stars season but IF I said yes, I think people would be really shocked to see my growth as a person, there’s definitely a glow up. I think a lot of people got to see a lot of the person I wanted them to see, but no one’s perfect, everyone has positives and negatives and on season 10 I really feel like I guarded myself and only showed the good parts of me, and there are definitely bad parts and funny parts and vulnerable parts. So I think, if I were to go back for All-stars, I would really let go, and allow people to fall in love with every part of who I m and not put that guard up. I wouldn’t want it to be “I’m gonna be nice today and you’re only gonna see me nice”, no. If I’m in a bad mood you’re gonna see me in a bad mood, and if I’m feeling funny and witty you’ll see me being silly and goofy. So thats what I would want people to see, the true me without any guards up because I feel like I’ve learned to love the skin I’m in.
So Drag Race UK is coming soon, will you be watching and if so what do you want to see that we haven’t seen on the US version?
I’ll definitely be watching. I’m really excited for it. I am a super fan of Drag Race so im always, not on the Reddit chats, but I always watch those youtube videos to see who could be on the season before I hear it from the girls and I know they’re on it, so I get really excited for it. I think the culture in th UK is so different, especially the humour. That, I think, will be the biggest difference, just the cultural differences. Oh and the looks, I think the looks here are very different, because I feel like Drag Race in the US has turned into a bit of a fashion show and it’s very fashion influenced, but I think here its more about costume, or at least from what I’ve seen I mean, correct me if I’m wrong. So I would love to see the the differences.
I think over here the queens have a similar fashion sense to Manila Luzon, she has a concept for everything she does and its always still campy and fun so I think she is the closest we’ve seen so far to a UK queen on the show
Yes, a conceptional queen!

And our last question, As queer people a word we use with a lot of power is the word “Pride”, what does pride mean to you?
Pride means a lot of things to me, pride doesn’t just mean being a queer person and being out and loud about it, it’s that but its so much more. Pride is about accepting who you are for all the traits that you celebrate and all the traits that you dont think people celebrate. It’s about being perfectly imperfect and being yourself, owning yourself and loving the skin that you’re in. I feel like the word Pride, in essence means to be grateful for who you are, and to want to share it.
